If I could give this game more than 5 stars, I would. It's incredible. The novella is too - it really adds to and expands upon the story presented in the game.

Thank you for the explanation! Wow, the creatures/turned hunters seem a lot more sympathetic to me now.

Just finished my first playthrough, and this game is amazing! I do have a lingering question or two, though: why were all the murder victims Hunters? Why one every seven days? I'm not sure if this was explained and I missed it, or if we were supposed to infer it from clues.

Wow, this is a great game! The worldbuilding especially blew me away; I think this game has the best worldbuilding I've ever seen in something of its length. I really enjoyed the little details like the earthwhale and the punishment salt that had nothing to do with the romance but made the world feel more like a living, breathing place.

The protagonist was delightful. She's optimistic and emotionally literate and kind without falling too much into the generic otome protagonist trope. And like the rest of the characters, she's a great blend of monstrous-yet-relatable, rushing not to be late to work one moment and thinking of blood salt as a delicacy the next. Thank you for writing this game and releasing it for free, it was a really memorable experience!

The demo was funny and fun! I like that the protagonist is so aware of common otome tropes, yet so lacking in self-awareness regarding his own feelings. After the "homemade lunches for a week" line, I found myself wanting to solve the problem by pairing Ao with Hong Yang instead (fingers crossed for them getting together if Emily chooses Geum).

Writing posts takes time and energy. Sure, it would be nice to have more frequent updates, but the author has been posting on Kickstarter approximately bimonthly (April, June, and August), and I think that's enough.  I don't want to pry into the author's personal life, but they mentioned a family emergency in the April update, and it's possible that life hasn't been good to them lately. I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt and trust that they're doing the best they can, instead of assuming that they don't care about keeping their fans notified.
